    Removing Park Interlock Cable

    Is there a way unplug this? I converted to T5 and would like get rid of bits that do not belong. I am afraid that cutting the cable could put it in permanent park and disable the ignition. The entry housing is screwed to the ignition switch with shear head screw(s)
