My son got his first sporty car. We had a blast ripping the back roads today. The Volvo did well. The new motor is a joy. I could see stiffer springs at some point (currently on IPD sport springs)....

Heading home.

Car has a driveability issue. At highway speeds, on light acceleration, there is occasionally a ďhiccupĒ or miss. Just one. Like a momentary fuel cut or misfire. Any suggestions?

Made it to Davis for dinner. Car was sublime through the mountains. Plenty of power. 25 mpg at 75 mph in the hills. No oil consumption. Very pleased.

Once in a while it does. I had the case for fun. Then I filled it with car stuff. Then I fitted the speakers. Would probably sound better with more separation. Oh well.

In reading these threads, it seems that red block oil temps seldom get high enough to open the thermostat during normal driving. Five quarts brought mine to full on the dip...

Sweet. I'm a step or two behind you. Once I get the Valdez to stop leaking, I'll sort out my wide band and then turn her up a smidge. Saw 5-6 psi on the gauge. Pretty fun.
