There was a nice 245 that sold for $550 on CVQ (Club Volvo Quebec) last week. You should check on Kijiji Montreal cause they come around from time to time!

Just picked up a 242, being delivered to my friends house soon hopefully. Terrible day for it, super snowy I thought the tow truck would take forever, but it didn't.

So... You guys can stop de-rating my thread now haha, I have an actual car. Got it today for $200. Going to take a lot of body work learning, but thats exactly what I will be doing on it. I've got the mechanical parts down so now its time to start doing hard part.

Car came from a forum member(just joined, hasn't posted), just getting into volvos, but he just bought a cleaner 1990 to work on.

She doesn't have a name yet.. so Ill have to think of one.

Brown interior I've never seen before.

Her new home for awhile, next to the supra.

Also had an excellent time getting her to that spot by myself! No one is at my friends right now so the driveway hasn't been plowed so there is a good 8" of snow. The tow truck could only get the car to the top of the hill. Brakes don't work at all, engine won't start, battery dead, so I had to pull it with my truck and then push it into place. By myself! Such a great time. Oh well its there!

Yes!:lol:

She now has a name.

Sticking with the Greek(my 244 was Delilah).

Hey! I just sent the exact copy of that car to the grave!! Was SO rusty that I got discouraged... The driver's seat was about to fall on the street and the tranny's crossmember was welded to the framerails because there was nothing left to bolt it to!! But I kept the tail lights if you ever need them! :-P

**** just got serious, I may need some help.

Seems the PO(not the guy on TB) fixed the driver side footwell by putting a piece of sheet metal and riveting it in place. I now see the extent of the damage. I didn't have my good cam with me, but the rust had almost eaten through the jack mount. I'm not sure I will be able to fix that!

Help!

My friend bought a 242gt of Ontario 5 years ago, was looking nice on the picture but upon closer inspection not much solid stuff was left on it...

When he was done he sent the whole car for the sandblast on some skinny wheel;

He looks like a pro. haha I guess that is way worse than mine.

I will see how it goes, once I pull a bunch more stuff off of it.
