Thanks to lunchb0x and my father's welding, we got the exhaust repaired. I didn't snap a photo of the carnage, but the pipe split completely inside the exhaust shield :omg:

. All good to go now :nod:

Painted the repaired bit and away we go!

Not to be a negative nancy, that krylon stuff will burn off. The one you want is Rust-oleum high heat. It really does hold up pretty well.

The exhaust manifold was done with Rustoleum. This was a case of me being out of paint and using what I had left :lol:

At least we get to see them wear side by side
