psh.... id give up a testicle for your car, its like EXACTLY what i want for my car, cept i want a B204GT in it with an m90.

as for anything rare in my car, i have nothing. mine is plain jane nothing special at all. the only "rare" thing i guess is that the map pockets are still all there, but theres a crack in both of them, however the busted and POS console in the middle makes up for it.

a twenty year old clear coat with no peeling?

ehheh. not so rare but i rarely see it. black and white checkered cloth interior and i snagged silver door lock knobs. if it were manual it'd be stock ideal for me.

a 97' b230ft

OH! I know! the little plastic cover for the towing eye?

242:

Power sunroof kit
262C style green "PASS SEAT HEAT" switch
Oil temp gauge kit
"Barney Purple" auxiliary switch being used as driver's seat heater switch
Volvo cowl intake cover (not installed at the moment)
Upper/lower chassis braces
'79 242GT sway bars
manual steering rack

245:

Green "AUX LAMPS" switch controlling a pair of Bosch Touring driving lights, as sold on some Cdn spec 242GT's
Heated power mirrors switch from '93 240 (need wiring, relay, and '86+ mirror housings to complete installation)
Cargo guard
Pair of amber Bosch Touring fogs mounted below the front bumper
Tan rear door panels with carpeting at the bottom
Tan velour pre-'86 head restraint covers
Cibie E-code turn signal lenses

Both 240's also have 220 km/h speedometers which are kinda rare down here, as well as ambient temperature gauges.

744:

Dash tray.

The only rare bits on my car are the bits I made myself

Unless you count my other, red, volvo. 17 years old and the paint hasn't faded yet

I have lighted and auto down switchs in my 1990 760. I got them from a 1998 940 off a UK ebay.

My 1990 760 was made in 07/1990 and sent to the US in 09/1990 and sold in 11/1990.

Two of them in the past month or so (and they're turbobricks guys so they've posted about this). The BrickBoard FAQ also has the parts numbers and such. I got mine used, but I also paid about $10 for it.

It's an excellent mod, and perhaps rare, but certainly not expensive, and it's certainly available from the dealer.

Either way, doesn't matter much, since iPd sells them anyway.

But, good to know

Has anyone fitted a Volvo lower brace to a '92-'94 960? I know the cherry turbos lower brace won't fit (I have one), but maybe the Volvo brace fits? IPD says it won't fit the 6 cyl cars, but I'm wondering if they're talking about the PRV V6 cars.....

I just remembered a something that I bought about a month ago, I've never seen one before. It's a color matched (beige) rubber mat that goes over the driveshaft hump between the rear floor mats and protects the carpet. It's a Volvo accessory and it comes in one size with lines on the back that show you where to cut it for 700/900/S/V90, 850, S/V70 or S/V40. Kinda cool, I ordered it (from vlvworld.com) because I was curious to see what it was like. It's in my V90. I also ordered a set of Volvo mudguards for the V90, not really rare, but I don't see many with them. They seem to work well.

As well I have one of those reflective red rear valance panels for my 960 that goes between taillights. I still haven't decided if I like it or not.

I have a '92 940 GLE (16-valve) for parts. My understanding is that they weren't sold in the US. Is this true?

Lower chassis brace DOES fit a V6....I can tell you that much right away.

Rare stuff I have for the 360...
B19/B21 R-Sport tuning kit
Full 300 series gauge pack
Driving computer (as posted for 240s, but on a stick)
Factory bodykit
Clear front indicator lenses (non-factory..and non-fitted )

For a future -1981 (mk1) 300 project...
Rear window lourve for a -85 300
Centre console gauge panel and gauges for a -1982 300
On the way: R-Sport rims and R-Sport front spoiler for a -1981 300.

I also have LH2.4 Turbo+ (sometimes called Turbo++), 740 K-jet cruise control (rare here), and a 240 R-Sport boost gauge. There must be more, but I can't think what else.

cheers

James
