Paint damage cause?

What causes paint to do this?
I cleaned the car yesterday with car wash.
In retrospective the Bucket might have been used for Some oil before i forgot about but why only this part?

Its my just bought boxster and this side was facing the road.. the more i think about it i wonder if the pattern is someone trew something on the back out of spite.. i hope i just messed it up

The environment that we live in,acid rain, industrial fallout, ash from forest fires ,bird poop, tree sap,etc, rain and hot sun on the paint. Parked near the road? street/road debris that has been baked on the pavement, see all of the above.
 
Well got it at least sorted for the future
