Just had a thought and was curious since I have a regina car and if I even wanted to go bosch that would mean engine out because of CPS on flywheel....stupid....

Has anyone heard of a front mounted CPS on the crank pulley like bmw and others do?

Thanks everyone!:-D

my solution was to attach it to the back of the crank pulley thusly.

I still need to time it, weld it to the hub, make a bracket to hold the sensor, and clearance the timing belt cover because I didn't think that far ahead. it's not the greatest solution but i'm going to make it work.

I mounted one to the front of my B21 crank pulley, worked great with megasquirt. I had converted from a BW55 to an AW71L, using the original flywheel, so I had no CPS slots. My 84 was originally a carbed B21A.

Keep the tooth count to 36, a MS2 system runs into limitations with high tooth counts at upper RPMs.

Bent-grill - that is a fine solution.
