Mr.Borrie?s 242 LPG turbo project.

i have 4 vialle lpi injectors and a b230ft manifold with lpi injector bungs at the bottom, if you're interested. (and a vialle LPi ecu and LPi tank but the pump is dead).
for more info on how to get good power out of a redblock turbo on lpg give johan or joeri from Leto in Wijchen a call. they're both into tuned volvo's on lpg, and their company is specialised in lpg systems.

How can they enforce this rule? Are they going to check on you every day? :e-shrug:
just curious.;-)

oldtimers have O-plates; meaning O letter letter - number number number.. eventually some cop will pick you out of traffic and start asking questions.

although ive heard that theyve revised the whole system. id have to read up on it.

LPG is a nice fuel. Can handle lots of boost and compression.
But it's still a slow burning fuel.
So it's nice for big V8's with a not really high revlimit.

But for a higher revving turbo'd 4banger I dont know if its best.
Sure 200-250 hp will be possible without problems.
Just take your time to figure it out borrie, take your time to build and you will have loads of fun.
I know the bosma 242GT, I've worked on it, played with it, loads of fun but it also had it's share of problems. He put a lot of money into it.
But yeah with a b230ft+m90+lsd in a roadtax free lpg car it sure was fun.

He changed from a high revving b23+itb's on lpg to a torquey turbo and never looked back.
The itb'd b23 didnt like LPG at the higher rev limit. It revved 'high' but it just didnt want to go past 5500/6000 rpm.
While with e95, it went to 7200 (iirc) without a hitch..

That's true. As I said before I'm very happy with my LPG in my N/A B230, and semi hi perf Chevy V8.
The V8 revs fine till 5500 (now at around 210km/h, 3spd auto), but around 5000 is my mental redline for that since it's a heavy ass engine. But if the engine is completely weighed out and balanced it should be able to do 6/7000 rpm, I know a guy who had a 396 stroker (makes 434ci (7.1L)) with dual carbs and mixers and easily keeps up with the petrol boys revving over 6K.
But yeah, if you pour enough money in it the sky is the limit ofcourse :)

Today i picked the car up, too dark for pics but she looks good!
Bodykit is a bit more hausser than the kit in the pic, like i said more pic when i can make some

(Thats gonna be the weekend cause i leave home in the dark and come back in the dark right now)
