I uh, never thought about using them for basically free lifetime oil changes, they even take used oil for a refund!

For the OP, I buy them a few at a time from IPD, the last two years that I went to the garage sale I buy a few and pick them up then and there.

Not answering the op question but I thought I would throw this out there.

Not the cheapest option but you can get good filters from auto parts stores. Advance has Mann and Napa has Mahle. I would think other auto parts chains would also have oe(m) filters but, like others, I buy from FCP. Looks like there is Napa in Australia, but again not the cheapest option.
