Oh it was so nice! For that first summer. Then winter hit and we realized it was graded all wrong, had all kinds of issues and generally got worse every year.

This was 3 weeks ago

Driving a skid steer = mucho fun.

I need to get pictures of the concrete, they just finished that. The upside is now that all thats poured I get to build my shed that will move my air compressor and a bunch of garden/yard tools out of the garage. That will be very nice.

OMG I did something!!

Started blocking out the rear quarter. (in progress picture)

Had some help from a little friend

But the big thing today was

I actually bought a Hobart 165tig months ago and been meaning to wire it up. Added a 60 amp sub panel in the garage with a dedicated 30 amp for the tig and 20 for my mig (it would occasionally trip the breaker on one of my circuits). Have plenty of room for a bigger tig down the road or larger compressor now.

Huzzah.

Back to work I suppose.

Really nice to see some updates here again!:)
Seeing that clean body with primer really makes me want to work on my own car!

Next purchase for that TIG should be a water cooled torch and a cooler. You will never look back!

It's not much of an update but atleast this will keep the next update from being "I burned down the garage". :)

I think I've finally got my rear seat mounting figured out.

That's on the list eventually. Looking forward to learning tig.

I can't wait to see this car. Doug, are you up for doing a mini meet in your area? I haven't been out there and seen you and the locals since Burgerball a looooong time ago.

NAMM is over. Get to work! ;)

LOL. Man I could sleep for another week solid and it still wouldn't be enough.

Probably the closest thing to a mini meet is we have the annual open house this year June 13th for the guitar business. Squeeze inn truck. One of my employees brews all the bear. Music. Raffles it's a blast. Come up for it!

Good times for sure.

Great work all over! Very impressed by the seat-conversion.
Looking forward to seeing it all come together.
