Talk turbo with me, Mitsubishi 16g6 10.5t

I'm just about to put one of these turbos on my right hand drive 240.
If the manifolds I made fit - have the brake booster/master cylinder & steering shaft to contend with - what is the best "break in" method of getting LH2.4 used to the new turbo?
I have Mike's chips in.
 
My advice on the break in with TLAO...

The odd lean spot at the onset of boost can cause knocking. Thus, I drove the car with highway miles for one or two solid trips (maybe 3/4 tank of fuel) before really giving it any significant amount of airflow from the turbo.

After that I'd start to put it into boost to see how it was coping and then roll from there.
