530 cylinder head pitting concerns

The head I just pulled off a 94 B230FT has some fairly bad pitting. I'm not so confident a regular resurfacing would get it back to clean metal. Worth trying to deal with or should I find another head?

My favorite is the sludge filled coolant passage. Have it cleaned well so you can check for cracks. A machine shop tank. If it's not cracked anywhere then have it surfaced like suggested. You also want to make sure it's not warped.
