I am about to start looking for 240 axle bearing housings for my 9" rear, are some larger than others?

You mean the rear wheel bearings? They are all the same size on 240 series if that is what you refer to.

Thats what I meant. Thanks! I guess I said housings cause that's the parts I need to find.

I think Volvo used a tapered roller bearing, the 9 uses a sealed roller

It doesn't matter if I cut the 9" bearing housings off and put Volvo ones on. As far as I know, which isn't very far haha. I also have a company near me that can get any bearing known to man if it needs to be custom.
