Hello!
EDIT: Plans sure have changed since I bought this car. Currently sitting with a B230f in the engine bay with full 2.2 setup too, with the stock breakerless ignition. Super robust setup and dead nuts reliable.

Currently sandblasting and powdercoating all suspension components to be installed with full poly bushings and adjustable camber plates. Yoshifab helped me out with installing a T5, and I'm also boxing up all suspension arms with their box plates. 16v is next!

I'd like to introduce my 3rd 240, a 1979 245 w/m46 and a B21F. Not sure what the color is called, looks like khaki rather than the popular beige that I've seen plenty of.

Body is straight, but certainly isn't perfect. Some very common spots of rust, but body is solid regardless. I'm going to leave the body be for the time being focus on running and drivability.

Plans are:
LH2.2 swap, when it's -20f it sure is nice to have a car that starts no prob
RSI or K cam, picked an RSI cam up for a b230f, hoping I can use it on the b21f
Ipd lowering springs
Bilstein struts
RSI bronze shifter bushings
Roof rack delete
Sony Bluetooth stereo
6.25 comonent speakers in doors, tweeters in stock locations
5.5 rear door speakers
8" sub w/200watt amp

Long term plans:
Turbo setup!
More suspension bushings, etc.
Custom interior, door cards, plaid inserts, etc.

What actually happened:
1988 B230F
LH2.2 fueling
T5 transmission
IPD lowering springs
Billy HD's
IPD 25mm sways
Heated seats and upgraded seat grids
AC Delete
GT lower valance
Powdercoated black bumpers
Cat delete with custom 2.25 exhaust

What will happen:
Full poly
Spherical bearing torque bars
ADJ panhard bar
Boxed and powdercoated control and trailing arms
New downpipe, no cat, and custom 2.25 exhaust
16V conversion, still sticking with breakerless ign
Yoshifab custom intake
Yoshifab custom breather box and catch can
New rear end ratio, 4.10

Only area of bodywork I'd like to fix, just want to pull the dent out, make it work not pretty

Ever seen an amp like this? It also had speakers in the rear doors, they said ANP on them I think

Had to try and cover up the previous butchering of the door cards. Tweeters in stock locations to keep stock grilles. The more stock the better, nice and clean!

Nice Car, fix the rust too while your at it, before it progresses, you'll be happy in the future that you took care of it now! This color is win, I'm starting to like the 70's 240's more and more.

Jury is still out on the quad rounds, although some halo's would be very BMW esque...

Whatever I get it's going flathood for sure! Projectors too, it's getting dark up here!

Yea, rust fixing would be great, but I want to make it a great runner for now, then I can do the body work, or find a better shell. The early bodies are great, no moldings! I like the later dash way better though.

Yay, parts!

I've got an IPD alu skidplate I'm going to put on. Jury is out on a lower valance since it'll be low and bombing through snow half he year.

Thanks for the compliment!

Momo arrived today! I'll be installing it after work!

Pretty slick wheel, $120 brand new. So stoked!

IPD stuff came in, going out of town next week so I'm dropping the car off at my techs.

I've got the IPD lowering springs, should I cut a coil off the front, or just install? Getting an alignment after the lowering springs installed.

Steering wheel installed, feels so good! Tricks me into thinking it's a racecar...

Pics of the depth of the adapter. It's a perfect fit with a no offset wheel.

Really want a 93 850 lower. First is blacking out the bumpers, the low, then moar low

then NOS BABY

Also, G80's own for sliding around in the snow, no more peg leg!!!

Hmm, I've got a couple customers who have powder coating businesses, one quote was for $160 per bumper, they'll strip it down. That's not bad considering the front will be peppered by rocks and crap.

Twinsies for sure, reppin all the way down the peninsula.

Scottyd, never got to your question, sorry. Fronts are Polk 625 I think, component speakers, good bang for the buck from what I've read. Rear doors are Polk 525s, again, bang for the buck. Forgot what the sub is, some 200 watt amp, it hits plenty good for me.

Update!

Painted the winter wheels, painted the little center caps too. Car seems lower than others on these IPD springs, I just absolutely love it! Really want a 25mm bar for the rear though...
