How can I get in on the planning/volunteering? Last year was great and I want to do my part to make it even better

We need stickers. Something that sets the respective car apart from the rabble. Perhaps a "I drove to Davis and my car only broke down twice" type of thing.

Is it April yet?

How about now?

You got my number right Jason? We can certainly talk. Help for day of the show is a big area we can use bodies. Parking, checkin, gates, setup, takedown, all of it.

That goes for anyone that will actually show up to help. Saying you're in then bailing day of does us absolutely no good, but if you're actually going to show up, shoot me a pm and I will get you in touch with the person coordinating that part of the show.

Also since I am coordinating the Saturday stuff, I will need volunteers for drag on the fast group drive, also a mid-pack that knows the route, same for the slow group drive. Fast group drive will have a pretty aggressive pace, weather and traffic permitting, slower drive will be much more casual.

my body and my car are ready. I may have the getrag in by that time, but I'm lazy and poor so that's doubtful.

Nope thrashing on my car to run Olympus, if I'm at Davis you guys should jump me and if I'm at neither jump me twice the next time you see me.

Good news is the car will live in Bend Oregon after Olympus and will be at iPD the week or two before Oregon Trail Rally if all goes to plan

Can't make Davis, this year. 242 isn't in any shape to be making the drive out from KC, so I'm just driving the Merc to SE this year.

Next year, I'm hoping to drive out after doing the T5 swap.

Also, PTO requested and approved. Looks like us Portland Boiz will probably be taking the scenic route down off I-5 via 199, 101, and CA-1 down to Davis. So we should be there on Friday evening for shens.

I'm going to weld my tie rods on, and make sure I have all my tools with me this time dammit.

I don't believe you, I think you can make it. Just stop making all that elaborate, time consuming home made food and just eat ramen till completion
