Awesome! I'm going to try to order one of those for my '94 964 today! What's the part number and how much was it? I looked back though the thread, but I didn't find the number... Is it still relatively easy to get to the oil drain plug?
It was something like $40 at my local dealer but shop around. Dealer stuff is usually way over priced. Also ask for the mounting hardware which is sold separately. It doesn't interfere with the oil drain plug at all but if your engine mounts fail you'll know it in a hurry. In some spots clearance is less than 1/4".

Thanks for the number. Well, there's only one Volvo dealer in the province, so I'm pretty much stuck with their prices unless I order and have it sent from elsewhere. Anyway, I just had the part ordered. $86 CDN + tax and it should be here in about a week. I almost didn't buy it, but it's just so cool. Hopefully it'll improve the steering feel in that thing a bit! I know the upper brace did improve the feel, so hopefully the lower one will make it even better.
Fixedthat sounds expensive....mAydAy said:Quaife straight cut geared close ratio fully synchronized M45
Which upper brace did you use on the 960? Do you have any pics? If you drive your car hard you'll definitely notice a difference. Do a quick left right left transition like driving between cones at 30 or 40 mph before and after. Feels more responsive, less tire squeal, less understeer. Driving like a grandma you wouldn't even know it was there.
I found the special wrench to unscrew the centers out of my gemini's, but i have no centers
