This car belongs to a buddy of mine. He did the entire swap himself. It's a stock LS1 bottom-end with built heads, LS6 intake, mild cam upgrade, and stock C6 manifolds. The car retains A/C, cruise control, and power steering, and has an extremely quiet exhaust. It did 7.9 in the 1/8th with a 1.7 60-foot. He has the factory LSD rear from a 940 turbo in there. Total sleeper.

Yes, that's a home depot intake pipe.

looks great, im kinda surprised the g80 has held up to slicks
i like that he used a GL, looks grandma as hell

Nice. Does he live in SD?

Yup. He's a tech at a Volvo dealership down here. He's the guy who owns that blue 244 that I posted the picture of doing the huge burnout that you called BS on. :)

He also has a '71 Datsun 240z with a 4.8L LS-based truck motor and a 75mm turbo that runs 6's in the 1/8th on pump gas.

Nice. My car was serviced at San Diego Volvo for a number of years :)

Sadly, it doesn't seem like this guy ever worked on it considering all the retarded **** that was done to it over those years
