and i put some brand spanking new pilot sport a/s on there. 205 50 17. but its within .1" overall diameter of the factory pzeros 205 45 17.

I got .4 larger side wall. So times 2 thats .8 So over 3/4 of inch larger.


The 50 dont look right i dont think on the rims. It makes them look like the hydras.
 
you guys need to actually look at the tire rack spec pages.

just because something is 205 45 17 doesnt mean its a calculated size its approximate depending on venders

just like a 12 in nike doesn't fit like a 12 in reebok

u need to go to the spec pages and find overall diameter
and they are a beefy tires
 
go to 1010tires.com they have a GREAT calculator... BUT back to the rims... I LOVE those, I'd love to get a set if I had the $ for them... Congrats they look good...

cause they dont make that tire in the 205 45 but thats what i wanted so ifound the 50 was comparable height.

but i agree
they do look a little too beefy.

it will keep my bonehead family from bending them though :lol:

my friend steve and i are opting to go with 205/45-17 for his Jetta's new rims bc we don't want his mom to bend them if she needs to take the car to the store
