To Paint Front headlight Trim or Not??

This ideas been suggested to me a few times so i did a quick job with MS paint and thought i'd ask for your opinions.

I was personally going to remove the headlight wipers and just fill in the holes and leave the silver stripe in, but now i'm not sure. The headlights seem a little small or look too much like the facelift 700 frontend which i've never really liked at all.

I like the wipers. As for the trim go for painting it assuming you want to paint it the body color (not like a generic flat black or something).
 
I'll vote for the clears, especially if you blank off the bottom bit. :)

Those and a big welded alloy intercooler get my vote :-P
