Well Finally got the wreck out of the driveway. Stripped what I could that was still in one piece and usefull to the new 780 project. And loaded it up with all the various broken car parts we had lying around. My parents are so happy that theres room for another car in the driveway again(I was taking 3 spots up alone) Just figured I'd share a couple of pics I took with the community

ummm well I don't really need a spare moonroof. I have a whole other Bertone.....At any rate, the stereo equipment, the tranny, the engine, the exhaust, the two good wheels, the clutch & clutch pedal assembly. The interior pretty much got destroyed sitting at the body shop with no rear window, so I didn't bother with that.

What are they worth? There's a '93 940 sedan at the junkyard with a glass roof...

The Wheels!!@$#!@#$@#$@#$

Two of the wheels, so I can keep one as a full size spare in the new one, and the other so my friend(also here in Bham) can have a fullsize spare as well.

I'd pay 200.00 for a complete moonroof assembly for my 760. plus shipping. My understanding is its a bolt in, correct?

you shoulda kept the glass. What happens when one of your windows gets broken in your new bertone? its a lot cheaper to just grab one from the attic or whatever.

Waste, waste.

the removal of the glass in a Bertone is difficult, and with the interior destroyed from the accident, I couldn't get the two rear ones out. So what I am I gonna do? Take the door's windows? the windshield? :-P

I have a 244, and even I took the spare glass from a 245 that was being junked. That's got to be the easiest Volvo glass to get, since all 4 and 5 door 200 series share the same side windows, but if one gets broken, I have a spare. Finding 780 glass won't be so easy...
