Gauges---Elect. or Mech?

I am redoing the gauges in my 245Ti. So far I have a calibrated
Autometer boost and volt gauge. I know the mech. gauges
have accurate readings, but with the newer elect. gauges
are they as accurate? There is not much price difference.
Has anyone updated theirs, any suggestions?:help:

I don't believe there is enough of a difference to pick mechanical guages over electric. Usually electric are easier to hook up, due to running wire not metal tubes and such. Dan C

True. Mechianicals are more accurate and are durable. No goofy senders or anything to worry about, if the car is on, your gauges will always been on, if there is something to show.

But, really honestly, the only real mechanical gauge you would use is a temp and oil pressure. Boost is always going to be, a/f is electric and so is the volt (duh). Really for water and oil, it would be the way to go. If your going to spend the money, go all the way and get mechanicals.
