After running the Dawes MBC for a while 2 things became apparent. The boost came on early and stayed which was great for all out accel.
The boost came on early even at 1/4 throttle, which was not good, I always had to back off if I wanted to run low boost.
Now with the 2 stage controller, I can switch from the cabin, low or high boost. I can leave it at 9 psi for daily cruise, or switch to high boost 16-17 psi when Racer X is around. The 2 mbcs are easy to adjust, you just insert the allen wrench in the top and turn, no bolts to turn or twisting hose. Also on the low setting the boost is more progressive, perfect for cruising.
Now just to train myself to leave the switch alone.
