New speakers for my car

I got something nice in the mail today.

The set of JBL GTO507C will go in the front doors and the dashboard.

The set of JBL GTO527 will go in the back doors.

And no... I will not use the grilles that are included.



I will probably get them installed this weekend.
I will also try to change my oil and filter if I have the time, and also install a new flame-trap and mod the hose that goes to the AMM-turbo intake hose.

When I am under the dash I will try to get a pic of my modded EZK as well.
 
Are you running a Sub? I'm just curious what you wagons guys are doing in this respect. There is a 740 Wagon up the street that I want. :oogle:

It would be nice but I don?t want to waste any cargo space with a box.

The doors have a nice volume for good deep sound though.
 
Do you know what the top-mount mounting depth is for your front door speakers?

Wondering if there is 2.5" of clearance in there. (63,5 mm)

I think it will fit. The guide to which speakers that will fit is almost always accurate.

Well, the car is looking great Fred and it's allways nice when the tunes are happening too! Keep it!

Nah... just the switch.
 
I have mb quart pce216's in the front with the tweets mounted in the mirror. Sounds nice with a jl audio amp and eclipse hu with two 10w3 subs in the trunk
