Fun and noticeable changes like those are the best!
For sure on rust converter. Thanks I enjoy welding and I have the parts to fix it right. Got some good drill bits from Fastenall as they are 2 blocks away from home rather than ~10 Harbor Fake isHit the inner portion of the panel with some acid or rust treatment. Good on you for doing the work properly instead of slapping body filler in there and making a Bondo sculpture.
What are you using to drill out spot welds ? The HB tool or a regular drill bit ?
Thank you for your kind words. Keep the thread going is making me work more on the car alsoYour body work is incredible. Looks really nice!
Good on you for fixing it. I think all old body work is just get it close with the snatch hammer and slather the bondo on.
What do you call a pedicure wheel ? Looking at your tools, it looks like we're using the same things on your Amazon and my blue 1800S. I think 90% of what I cut turns itself into a 1/4 inch layer of pulverized metal and rust and lays itself all over my garage.
Very cool car, glad it's in the hands of someone who can give it the love it deserves. Nice work so far!
Nice work on the repair!
Sweet! Nicely done!
