Good luck getting that out. If you have to you can oversize the hole and go with an insert or bigger bolt.

Good find. Some Hondas are that way too. I've seen them no start when the valve cover ground is disconnected or bad. Redblock isn't the same. It doesn't care about the valve cover ground.

Bad wiring likely. Slap 12v to exciter terminal once with a jumper wire and it should start charging. Run a new exciter wire from the firewall connector.

Do these have a purge solenoid? I saw one on a 1989 740 and that was news to me.

It's the only thing I can think of that would be fuel level related that could possibly cause an issue.

I use a vac bleeder. Pass large amounts of fluid thru. Did you mess up and allow all the fluid drain out? I lightly clamp the hoses so **** like this doesn't happen from fluid loss.

$1 test light connected to the starter solenoid wire. Crank key. Light go on? Takes 30 seconds to track down if your starter is getting a signal or not.
