All I'm trying to say is this: The B6304 is a fantastic starting block for a hot rod motor. Unfortunately almost everything attached to it from stock is not usable for going beyond stock HP levels....

There's a hose nipple threaded into the block behind the downpipes on an NA B230F. It's right at the rear of the block just in front of the bellhousing.

If so the downstream O2 would be after the 1st cat, but before the second. You could at least delete the second cat with no problems.

I'm putting BNE's spherical trailing arm bushings in. My FRONT bushings on the trailing arms still look ok, but I did buy new Volvo bushings for this project too.

Well, he basically says it's because of noise. But he replaced everything with either Poly or Rod Ends. Also the stock Volvo rubber is very good all things being equal. It works well and dampens NVH....
