So the vents on my 940 only work right under maximum vacuum. I need to fix them properly, but I was hoping someone had a temporary, non-destructive way to jam the flapper dash vents open. Any ideas?

On the drivers side of the center console, just in front of the drivers right knee. You'll have to take of the left side panel of the center console. You'll see a black, hockey puck-looking thing with vacuum lines going to it. Plug the yellow line with a golf tee and see if it fixes your problem. If not, try a different vacuum line.

I just plugged the yellow line on mine. There is a low cost (about $30) AC Delco part# 15-71438/GM# 1996732 alternative to the Volvo diaphragm. Will try to find the thread on this.
