Ok! Now I get it


Started with an exhaust manifold.







I have no flange at the moment, so I just made a piece that fits in the v-band housing in the turbo i'm going to use. And I will be using a Precision 6266 with v-band
I haven't bought one yet, just borrowing my friends at the moment.



Almost done with the piping, only one for the wg left. Then all the welding




I went to get a set of wheel arches, I'm going to try to fit these in the rearend.




I knew there was a lot of filer on the rear fenders, but this is a bit more than I expected.




And I got some more parts! Torque radiator and intercooler from J-Spec.se!
Some aluminum pipes for the intake manifold.

And a Nardi Torino steeringwheel!

Cut some aluminium pieces!




Did a bunch of bends.




And a bunch of holes.



You might have figured out what I'm doing here.
It's an intake manifold.
I've cut some pieces from a 4" bend and fitted.
Too bad I don't have an ac/dc tig. I want to Tack it before I I fit anything more.




And then some fenderwork!
Took the wheelarches from the 240 fenders, because they're a bit wider.




I just fitted the new one on top of the old one, and tacked it. Then I cut through both, that leaves a nice gap to weld in.


It s there! Just all the welding left.
As you can see it's not centered, but this was the only way to turn properly

Then I cut some more away from the frame in the front.



I built with pipes instead.




And last but not least, a pic when testing my friends turbo. It's a Precision 6266

Decided to make my own bumper.
this is the start of it







Tacked!




Welded on the inside so I can get the edges a bit rounder.




It's not done yet, I'm going to finish it of a bit better where it connects to the fenders.
You can also see some kinf of attempt of a split lip




Rearfenders are ****ed! Filler filler filler



Someone replaced the arches using blindrivets




Made the lip in 3mm aluminium.
I have to trim it a bit to get it to fit perfectly to the body, but you'll get the idea.







Also made a new crossmember for the gearbox.




This is stock bumper vs mine.
you see that mine is a bit lower from the grill, just to keep the "frame".




Got my new turbo and wastegate!

While making enginecovers for a company, I felt like doing one for myself, in brass!





Pretty easy to shape!
I run a small business called MMW, so this is my logo.




I usually weld them on some spots, but I don't have the stuff to weld in brass, so I tried soldering. And that worked out perfectly!

Props for the plastic props.

Brass cover is sexy.

That front end is mean!
I'm worried it's gonna be too nice to trash on the track

Nah, Everything can be repaired or made again. Second time will be faster since I already know how to do it

No I'm sure it will sit a bit lower when everything comes together. But I can adjust it on the coilovers. But my goal is to end up at this height. Just have to roll the fenders

Got the cover back from powdercoat.

Full speed in the garage. Both cars are going to an exhibit in April. Mine doesn't have to run, but the Wide ass E46 is going to join a competition at the same time, So he has a lot to do

Wow! Wasn't sure I was gonna like that front end but the way it looks right now is amazing. Good job man, loved the old car as well.

Big fan of everything apart from that splitter, maybe it'll grow on me.

To be honest I'm not fully comfortable with it either, but I think it will look way better with paint on

Well! I'm back!
I have been in Dubai with work on a course. So that's why nothing has happened.

Came back friday morning, and after e few hours sleep I was back in the garage. I wanted to work with the car outside so I had to go there before the daylight disapeared.

The Rearfenders had an awful lot of filler on them that I wanted to remove before replacing the fenderarches.

Took some pics while it was outside.






I dont like how the radius goes along with the wheels.




Filler and The old wheelarch is gone!




Took a piece from a right frontfender. Fits better in my opinion.




Since the fronts is a bit wider, I was able to add some spacers I also took one of the better looking wheels.







Tires on this one is 215/45.
My plan is 235/40, so I can not use theese spacers, they're 55mm. But I had to try!




This is how the old fenders where replaced, and not only once as you can see.

You May have noticed that it's still filler left on the bottom of the fenders behind the wheel.
I've ordered some new pieces fot that so I can replace them as well.
I ordered to 164, they're a bit different, I'll get back to that when they arrive
