Didnt it automatically mark a forum "read" when you visited it before? It looks like its only doing it manually? i dunno... i'm looking to see if it was a feature change in the newest version of the vb3.8.11.

Yea I noticed that feature is missing now too...not a big deal, but would be nice to re-implement if possible.

I thought the "New Posts" feature was gone as well. However after using the updated board for a bit now, I found that it does tell me where the new posts end, and then states "These posts have not been updated since your last visit, but contains unread material" or something of that nature. It is different but works.
Thanks for keeping the board going!

Yeah i cant find a setting for it anywhere - it must have changed its design in the newest board code. Oh well. It will all be irrelevant when we go to 4 soon anyway. Give me a month to get it working.

Good thing I am in the habit of hitting ctrl-c at the end of long posts in case this happens, That way if something happens, i can just log in and paste the text, and not lose it...
I deleted every reference to tbricks in my history, cache and cookies. Re logged in, and it happened again. Today, same thing. If I am inactive for like 10 minutes(havent timed it) it logs me out. (and apparently typing in a msg window is considered inactivity.) I KNOW there used to be a "keep me logged in" setting somewhere but i can't find it any more.

Really frustrating.

Is that going to the tbforums site or the turbobricks site?

I dont think I have ever purposely gone to tbforums. I have always used turbobricks.com. I also frequently search the site with google and all of those entries seem to come back to turbobricks.

Dana's got the new stuff on tbforums.com. All the content and everything are there like here. change over your bookmarks to the tbforums side, should resolve the login issues.

Right. From now on... all your logging in should be through https://forums.tbforums.com

I've removed the fancy remote login on the website portion so that should help prevent some of the confusion.

Same here. I'm seeing 6 pages of "un read" threads from days ago. Is there a "mark all messages read" option?

I've noticed that if I click the thread link it disapears from the unread thread list. But are replaced by more unread threads.

Yup, theres a per-forum one, and then also a "mark all forums read" at the bottom of the front page.

I've had no issue with either the old address or the new one. I do clear my cache every day, so that helps?

weird though... i ended up stuck in some forums.turbobricks.com loop where i couldnt get redirected to tbforums. I'm guessing thats partially how some people are having login issues. I had to go type in tbforums.com instead.
