I?ve searched here and googled but I can?t find much info. I?m looking for some DIY coilover kits. I just need a diy kit I can cut the perches, weld the sleeves and install the insert and coil stuff.

I'd think that anyone who vends QA1 or AFCO stuff would have everything one could want for coilover supplies. But the General is correct on bolt-in suppliers.

Do you have the sleeve on top of the spring seat or did you cut it off?

I cut off the spring seat and welded the sleeve onto the strut tube.
You have to grind a lot off the strut tube to get the sleeves to fit over it btw. Took like 15-20 minutes per strut. :-D
Also, I welded a piece of tube a little smaller than the ID of the coilover spring onto the top spring seat, in order to make a "new" seat for the smaller springs.

I looked on bne but I couldn?t find a diy kit exactly

https://www.bneshop.com/collections/700-900-volvo-parts/products/700-900-coilovers

click on the dropdown menu and pick "Front & Rear Hardware Only"
The Front & Rear Hardware kit includes:
Weld Rings
Luxe Steer Upper Spring Perches
Coilover Sleeves and Lower Spring Perch
Eibach Springs (2 Front & 2 rear)
Rear Adjustable Spring Perches

That or this

Huh, that's tempting to do on my 240, but I've been eyeing up the BC Racing set where it completely replaces the strut and coils.

Sub par components lots of fabrication required. If cheap is the goal. The DIY parts are much cheaper and you get a lot more control of what you get.
