Volvo 240(?) OEM oil temp gauge - how rare is this?

Hi guys,

Years ago I bought an oil temp gauge which I believe is supposed to go in a 240.

I can't find much info about this gauge and the www and would like to know if it's really meant for a 240 and if it is, what model/type?
Is it indeed rare and would anyboy know the current value of it?
I do like it a lot, just can't figure out where to put it in my 940.

I got the oil sump temp sender as well, just not in the pictures:

It's for a 740 and will fit where the boost gauge goes in a 740 turbo.

It is more rare than the VDO cockpit type of gauge which is the type for a 240. The sender is discontinued so that coupled with the gauge means you could probably get $100 for it. But that is just a guess.

Yes 740, I think ive seen that Dave Barton has replacement senders if someone has it missing for their gauge?
