240 Hesitation on Throttle Transitions

When driving, with or without load, my '80 GT has picked up a bit of a hesitation with throttle transitions; almost like it has to think for a moment before going, "Oh, you need power, OK!"

This happens, regardless of RPM and regardless of load, and is just as bad with no load as it is going down the freeway at 80.

See video below for at least the sound...

Fuel/ignition maintenance tasks within the past few months:
Two replacement Bosch pumps, both main and in-tank
Plugs/wires
Four new K-Jet injectors with seals
Fuel filter

Any ideas?

To me it sounds like ignition is not set up properly.

That's my initial thought as well, though my next question is, what changed yesterday, while going over the hill between work and home, because it started about halfway home from work, yesterday...

Before that, it ran brilliantly for ~4000 miles.

Vacuum lines or vacuum advance/retard unit, blockage (carbon buildup), sticky distro plate, maybe the distributor shifted itself into another position. Could be a few things :)

I'll take a good look at the dizzy when I replace the cap and rotor on Saturday. The cap/rotor looked a little burned around the contacts, so I'm putting new Bosch stuff in.

Yay, Amazon Prime!

Do you have a chance to check it with a strobe light?

I'll hit it with a strobe after I do the cap and rotor. The rotor looked worn enough that I'd normally replace it, so... It's not my first rodeo with an old Volvo, just my first rodeo with a K-Jet car that wasn't immediately crushed or converted to LH.

The story gets more interesting... Pulled all four plugs and 3/4 look good.

Time for compression check.
