I honestly don't know anything aboutAuto's. I dont' care to know anythingabout them. But a freind is doing an engine swap in his 244. He has an auto. We aren't swapping the auto out because hes just going to sell the car.

Can you remove just the engine? How?

Would it be easier to remove the entire assembly? Auto and engine? Then switch it around on the ground?

Any help appreciated

When unbolting becareful wit hthe torque converter and use a block of wood and some straps/rope to hold it in. I have seen it done many times with the auto trans still in the car. Get a manual and look it up also, but its not terribly difficult.

Late.
