![]() Hi - I have a 93 240 with power/central locking. Sometime during the vortex, everything inside the drivers door pooped its pants resulting in the lock cylinder no longer engaging the lock mechanism. While I had the door card opened up to remove the grounded, battery-eating, central lock switch/harness assembly, I found a broken two-pronged fork type part that is clearly intended to engage the lock actuator rod when the cylinder is turned.
Does anyone know if this fork part on the end of the cylinder is integrated with the whole lock assembly - ie can I replace fork only or do i need a whole cylinder? pics? Thanks! |

![]() Oops, I somewhat mis-remembered - from your pic it looks like the "lock tab"
![]() Thanks for the reference! |
