Anyone made commando bumpers closer to the body?

The curve on the 240 commando's that I used (not sure of year) did not match the curve on the 74 bumpers I removed. I cut the newer one's in half and re-welded them with the proper curve. Had to make new brackets to mount them also.

Maybe my car had been hit at one time. I do know that the passenger fender was gold (from a 142GL) with the rest of the body being orange. It's also been about 18 years since I owned the car, so...

This is how I remember it when I was picking a 75 164 at CRO in San Rafael and I was parked right next to it with my 82 245 Turbo.
