did this today heres a step by step if anyone is interested. I choose this route because its cheap and well cheap. it gives you a short strut setup for being low, adjustable dampening, adjustable preload, and adjustable ride height, I like those 4 things. so heres how to do it.

I left a nub to center it^^^
screwed the coilover out of the tube so I don't damage the strut with heat and tached tube in place

welded it on

put coilover back in a bam done. just gotta drill a couple holes in strut tower for camber plates
