Not sure about this: I cut the A/C portion of the PS pump bracket off. This allows it to drop down on the block, but we loose two of the four mounting bolts in the process. Wondering if this will survive long term. Still need to find the right belt.

Found this tube nearly falling off the PS rack. Don't know what it's for. Dropped the rack and installed some left over fuel line.

Oh &...

Drive shaft, crossmember, starter, bell housing bolts, shifter, clutch cable - all removed. Never pulled a manual trans before, do I need to pull the clutch fork? Is so, how does she come out? If not, shouldn't the trans slide back now?

Thx!

Clutch fork will ride with the bellhousing and pull the throwout bearing with it.

Sure you got that pesky bolt on the top?

Should wriggle and kershlunk off if everything's unhooked yes.

Balanced on a trans / floor jack or your knees he-man style...

Like Ken said, just lay under it head facing front car and lift up and push towards the rear. The weaight forces the tail downwards and provides resistance. Also once you lift up turn slightly counter clockwise for the starter bump to clear a path.

Ps be careful not to crush yourself old man

Took off the small brace from underneath and wiggled.

Lengthened the header by 1.5" to better fit the TME turbo exhaust.
