As far as older pushrod designs go I've found the B18 and B20 to perform very well. They certainly rev a lot better and put out more usable torque than other OHV four cylinder cars I've driven.
I'm sure they rev even better when there isn't a bashed crank gear stuck on the end.
Learn from my mistakes.
