how rare are these aftermarket taillights?

If they are made by the same company that makes the clear wagon versions, I can tell you that the quality is absolutely awful. I sure hope they are rare.
 
Those are absolute garbage. The lenses are attached with something like butyl rubber. You can see it in the pictures. An OE Volvo lens is ultrasonically welded to the housing. The housings are usually warped right out of the box. I wouldn't give $10 each for one.

On the upside, that makes them easier to modify. I got a set years ago, popped the lenses off, did some work, and by the time they were back togoether they looked halfway decent.

Not the all clear ones though, I bought the clear reverse/turns.
