old volvo mechanic in rochester NY

There are still a few techs at the Volvo dealer that were working there in the 90s and know these cars. Do they really want to work on them anymore - probably not so much unfortunately, but they can. Dan Thiel at Kurts is good.. Dan senior is still around but doesn't really wrench anymore, he was the rwd Volvo guy here. Depending on what he needs done there may be a few local members that could do the work.
 
Waaay back in the early 2k Dan offered me his Volvo 242 rally car. I couldn't afford it then but I should have gone into hock to get that thing. Dan's race 142 was a really fast car at Watkins Glen.
