Hello
How should i treat my mild steel exhaust manifold so it will rust as little as possible and be as heat isolated as possible?

zinc spray or ceramic coating ?
I'd prefer exhaust wrapping. It will always rust but with the heat generated there's no heavy problem with rust.

Will cost too much cos I would have to ship it in to someone to do it...
Isn't there just some kind of paint I could use then wrap it?

Pojken har r?tt!
Make BOOOST often! Lots of it and it'll stay clean like the day it was born!
Make it glow bright orange once or twice a day, and problem solved.

Aluminum cermaic coating, the only real way to protect that piece. Self applied coatings won't last and header wrap will cause the header to rust. Pay for the last step to keep it around for a bit.

I have actually had success using "high heat" paint which is norally garbage. When you bake it in the oven for 15min @350, its holds up really well.
